The Apeks XTX50/DS4 + OCTO + SPG regulator set offers advanced features and high performance for divers looking to explore the depths with confidence. Built with Apeks’ trusted DS4 first stage, the XTX50 is designed to provide superior performance in cold water (below 10°C / 50°F), with Apeks’ unique Diver Changeable Exhaust System (DCE) for enhanced versatility. Choose between a wide exhaust tee for minimal bubble interference, ideal for underwater photography, or a narrow tee for a more compact, streamlined setup. Switching the regulator from right- to left-handed hose configuration is also fast and straightforward.

Included in the set:

• First Stage DS4: The over-balanced diaphragm design in the DS4 ensures excellent performance by allowing the average gas pressure in the hose to increase faster than ambient pressure as the diver descends. This design provides exceptional performance at depth. The dry seal environmental system keeps water and contaminants out of the main spring chamber, preventing freezing in cold water and protecting the internals from debris. Available in DIN configuration, it’s also compatible with EAN40 right out of the box.

• Second Stage XTX50: This pneumatically balanced second stage regulator delivers smooth, easy breathing at any depth. The large XTX purge buttons are designed for effortless operation, even with thick gloves, and feature a progressive, two-stage purge system. This system allows the diver to regulate air flow intensity—press lightly for a gentler purge, ideal for situations requiring more control, or fully depress for a powerful purge. The Venturi lever with its soft rubber grip is easy to locate and minimizes the risk of sand ingress. A control knob on the second stage allows divers to adjust the opening force to suit their breathing style. Manufactured with active antimicrobial protection, the XTX50 second stage inhibits bacteria and fungi, providing a safer, more hygienic experience.

• Octopus XTX50: The XTX50 octopus offers the same high-quality design and performance features as the primary second stage, including the two-stage purge button, large Venturi lever, and easy-to-use control knob. It’s built to withstand cold water, with a silicone exhaust valve and Apeks’ Comfo-bite™ mouthpiece for reduced jaw fatigue. The heat exchanger around the valve mechanism minimizes the chilling effect caused by gas expansion by drawing in warmth from surrounding water, ensuring comfort during extended use.

• Apeks SPG: This reliable submersible pressure gauge allows divers to monitor their tank pressure easily, ensuring safe dive management at all times.
